These 3 wheel turned vases were fluted and handled when wet to create the surface and light effects. The gesture of the waving forms was like soft coral seen when scuba diving. Forming these pieces on a pottery wheel is particularly challenging because there is very little malleable material in the "clay". So it handles like firm powder milk mixed with a little cream cheese!
