Translucent Porcelain
Leaf and Vine Bowl, Translucent Porcelain, 8"x8".
These porcelain pieces must have character without the added dimension that is shown by illumination. Illumination shows the extreme translucence of the "clay".
The body of the bowl is built of overlapping slabs which form the edge of the lip and the supporting foot. Note that the "feet" are stems supporting the bowl above the table.
