Passau, River Bank, Pen on Paper, 11"x14".
We were in front of a huge forest looming over the building, the road with small cars and the protective stone wall with the Rhine River flowing in front.
The forest felt oppressive above the buildings.
The dense pen marks create weight and a claustrophobic feel to the town below at the edge of the river. The man made order of the buildings seemed squeezed between the "naturalness" of the forest and flow of the river.
